elevated K6ibd With sadness, we announce the passing of Concetta Finateri on April 15, 2025 at the age of 87. Reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Arduino and parents Adelina and Angelo.
elevated K6ibd Cherished mother of Antonella (Leigh +), and Piero (Angela). Proud grandmother to Adelina, Lauren, Erica and Alessandro (Alicia). Loved by her siblings Mafalda (Nino +), Pasquale (Alfonsa) and Rosetta (Umberto). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families, and her primary caregivers, Rosalie and Janette. Praise and thanks to RNS Health Care Services staff, particularly Fatuma, Nefissa and Ashley for their unconditional love and support.
elevated K6ibd Concetta immigrated to Sault Ste. Marie Ontario in 1960. Here she raised her family and worked until retirement as a custodian at Extendicare Van Daele Manor. She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking for her family and friends. After her retirement, she moved to Woodbridge Ontario to be near her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed socializing with her many friends and family at Villa Giardino, sitting on her balcony, tending to her potted flowers and herbs.

Concetta was an extremely loving person. Although I only met her a few times when she was visiting her granddaughter Addy, she was very sweet and kind. She’s going to be missed by so many, and I hope her family will be okay.

We only had the pleasure to meet Concetta twice when she visited Antonella in Whitby. I know from lovely Antonella what a wonderful mother and grandmother Concetta was and her spirit if caring and thoughtfulness lives in our friend, her daughter Antonella and granddaughter Adelina.
Peter, Antonella and Family…we are so deeply sadden and heartbroken by the passing of your mom, our Zia Concetta. I have very fond memories of her, and know how much she loved and was loved by all. She is now at peace forever, at Home in Heaven, watching over you from above.
