In loving memory of Connie Pacione

elevated O7dH3 Connie Pacione, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 14th, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born to the late Giuseppe and Nicoletta Lancione in Ofena, Abruzzi, Italy.

elevated O7dH3 Connie’s journey began at the age of 13, when she embarked on a new chapter, immigrating to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1955. Through resilience and determination, Connie embraced her new home, mastering the English language, pursuing her education, and diligently working part-time.

elevated O7dH3 In 1966, Connie achieved a milestone by graduating from Marvell Hairdressing School. Her passion and talent flourished as she embarked on a successful career in hairdressing before dedicating herself to nurturing her growing family. She married Nick, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage for 57 years. Together, they created a strong and loving family, raising two incredible daughters, Mariann and the late Elizabeth (d. 2020). She was a woman who adored her family and had a very special connection with her grandchildren.

elevated O7dH3 Connie will be remembered for her unwavering strength, kindness, and resourcefulness. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, forever etched in the hearts of her family and friends.

elevated O7dH3 Connie was the truest example of unconditional love, strength, and generosity that extended far beyond her own family. She loved her friends and her community with everything she had and will be fondly remembered for her smile, laughter, stories, home-cooked meals, and an array of hairstyles she so loved to wear. Her energy was unbelievably contagious!

elevated O7dH3 Connie is survived by her husband, Nick, her daughter, Mariann, and her beautiful grandchildren, Nicholas, Sophia, and Francesco. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. They will remember and treasure the memories they both made and shared together forever—with undying and devoted love, always!

elevated O7dH3 A funeral service to honour Connie’s life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Vaughan in memory of Connie Pacione.

elevated O7dH3 Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
