elevated HSQ36 Peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2020, at McKenzie Health Centre at the age of 91. Predeceased by her loving husband Gustavo in 2005. Caring sister of the late Gaetano Forgione (Italy), Gemma Masella (Italy), Margherita Havill (England) and Carmela Paganuzzi (England). Cherished mother of the late Maria (Bottoni), Fernando, Fiorella (Cordovado) and the late Jimmy. Proud nonna to Dr. David Bottoni, Lisa Caprio (Bruno), Dr. Gianmarc Coppola (Alessia), David Michael Coppola (Maggie), Anthony Cordovado (Daniela) and Rosanna Miersch (Christian). Great-grandmother to Stefano, Sofia, Chiara, Matteo, Marco, Siena, Sebastian, Lucas and baby Mia. Emilia lived for her family and shared her immense warmth and kindness to all she met. Her ever-present and beautiful smile will be greatly missed.

Nonna Emily was a kind, loving and happy leader to our family. She had welcoming open arms to anyone she met and a handful of jellybeans to sneak into your pocket. Nonna was an inspiration to look up to and strive to be like. She went through tough times but always prevailed with a warm smile and a sparkle in her beautiful blue eyes. I am deeply saddened by her passing but have peace that she is reunited with her loved ones in heaven. We have another angel to watch over us now.
We have lost a wonderful and beautiful Aunt. There are so many memories of her throughout the years that will be instilled in our hearts forever. She was a woman who had smiles that could brighten up anyone’s day. I always looked up to her and admired her enormous strength. I learned so many of life’s lessons through her. We have lost a remarkable human being. You will be sadly missed Zia. I know you will be looking down on us as your spirit will always be with us. Rest in peace beautiful Angel.
