It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the sudden passing of Corazon Batalla Printer on September 5, 2026, at Markham Stouffville Hospital, with her loving family by her side, at the age of 65. Beloved wife of 37 years to Freddy. Loving mother of Yohann and his wife Erin. Proud Lola of Azalea. Cora will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT CORA
In 2024, when we visited Toronto, Cora and Freddy invited us to their beautiful home for dinner.
Cora had gone out of her way to prepare a delicious Parsi meal for us. We were pleasantly surprised to know that a Filipino lady could cook Parsi food so well. Hats off to her !!
We reminisced about the earlier days of our youth and friendship, before they migrated to Canada — all in all, a great evening.
Though our actual interaction with Cora was very short, we will always remember her as a loving wife, a great hostess and a caring friend.
May Cora rest in eternal peace, Amen.

Dearest Freddy, Yohann, Erin and Azalea,
It broke our hearts to lose Cora. She did not go alone. For part of us went with her, the day God called her home.
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, she was gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.
Cora’s life was full of loving deeds and was forever thoughtful of everyone’s needs.
Our faith tells us that God is showering his blessings on you at this very moment as well. The Bible says “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.” I pray that you will find peace and comfort in these words and that God will give you the strength and courage to go on.
I know that it seems like a sad ending of a life, but I have faith that Cora is on a wondrous journey to reap her just rewards. Hers was a good and blessed life and the happiness and joy that she brought to all of us will live on in her memory.

I was telling to my grandson Xavier, about Cora’s passing away and he can’t believe and he was devastated.
Everytime Cora meet Xavier at church after mass, Cora always tell Xavier “Bless to Grandma”
and with no hesitation Xavier get Cora’s right hand and kiss it, a sign of respect to elders. What a great scene to watch.

Aunty Cora was a giver. She had a heart for the forgotten and a way of making everyone feel included and cared for. She lived a life of service, and we were blessed to be recipients of her care, generosity, and love.
We relied on Aunty Cora for so many things. She was one of those people we could always count on. If we needed her for something, we knew she would be there. She never made us feel like a burden, and somehow, she always did things perfectly.
We will miss the little things: how good she always smelled, feeling the softness of her cheek after she gave you a kiss, her tight hugs, shopping her closet, and the sense of safety we always felt when she was around. We will miss her “wellness checks” on stormy or snowy days, sharing her cooking, and asking for photos of ours. We used to wonder why she cared so much about these things. Now we understand that caring was just who she was.
We are so grateful to have been loved by her and are comforted knowing she is with Christ. Our prayers are with her family. May she rest in peace.

Dear Cora, you left us so suddenly and will be missed a lot. We got to know you in the last couple of years, but whatever time we spent together was so special, memorable and full of laughter.
You were there during our rough times and gave with an open heart and much love. Your affection just poured out and you definitely made a mark wherever you went.
