I am deeply sorry for your loss and offer my sincere condolences. I have memories of Nonno eating lunch at the back of “The Store(s)”, sharing stories, sipping espresso, and joking around with us kids. Nonno had a special kind of smile that only came out when he was really happy; he smiled most when family was around- especially his Milena who stood by his side for over 60 years. I understand it has been a gruelling past few years managing his illness, and although facing a tragic loss, we can all rest easy knowing that he is in a better place without suffering.
