elevated 8mXHh With great sadness we announce the passing of Crescencio Jose Ferreira on May 27, 2018, surrounded by the people he loved. Loving father of Helena (Bill Logush), Manuel (Brenda) and Noel Sicard. Beloved grandfather of Stephen (Cristina), Lauren, Scotty, Tanner, Brendan, Julia and Noel Jr. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Crescencio Jose Ferreira retired as Vice-Consul, and the longest serving employee of the Consulate General of Portugal in Toronto.
elevated 8mXHh The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 12- 1:15pm on Friday, June 1, 2018. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph at 1:30 p.m. The final rite of committal and interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill). Vice Cônsul Crescêncio José Ferreira ,dedicado colaborador no Consulado-Geral em Toronto durante longos anos, com quem privámos de Jan.1999 a Agosto 2003 , inesquecível amigo a quem tanto devemos, acaba de nos deixar. An exceptional , loyal, humorous and dedicated friend and long serving Vice-Consul at the Consulate-General of Portugal in Toronto .
Chris will be greatly missed and his example of professionalism and great humanity /exceptinal personal qualities will endure!
