It is with sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Cybil Poh Him Si in Markham. Loving mother of Elton (Cora) and the late Tiffany. Cherished grandmother of Ella and Cameron. Cybil is also survived by her brother Francis (Amy) and was predeceased by her brother Grabriel (Hoon). Cybil will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews in Hong Kong, the Netherlands, and Canada, as well as by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her. She will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
I attended the online Mass for Cybil Si. Cybil worked for years at the Canada Revenue Agency, and I worked in Non-Filers at the time. I got to know Cybil through our prayer group, which met at lunchtime at 1 Front St. in Toronto. Cybil was a prayer warrior, and I felt the love and connection she had with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
It is wonderful to know that we will meet again in His presence someday.
