Dan was an amazing boss and a great person. I am so sorry for your loss.
Dan was a bright spirit who never failed to make me laugh. A quick wit and a broad smile. And above all, a proud dad. Whenever he spoke of his two boys, his face emanated love and pride. I hope the memories of Dan bring comfort to his family in this difficult moment.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Thinking of your family and of the incredible light Dan was and the laughter he spread everywhere he went. If I remember correctly, the signs at our office read “We love DD” – and we always will. May the sun shine warm upon your face Dan – and all the rest of it.
Dan led, I followed.
I will miss him. His voice and words will always remain with me.
“Hey now!”
My heart goes out to Andrea, Lysa, Adam, Alex and the rest of the family. Rest in peace my friend.

Dan, you will be missed but not forgotten.
Just heard the sad news. Dan’s energy and spirit brought smiles and sunshine to the office at JSA when I worked with him in the good old days. When I think of him, I remember only how much he made me laugh. My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.
Thank you Dan for wonderful memories.
I learned about Dan’s passing away yesterday to my astonishment. What a sad news! I met Dan through work in the 90s in Montreal and have fond memories of working with him and his unique blend of brain and humour as well as having fun teaching him some French and talking sports comparing the successes (or failures) of the Toronto and Montreal Sports teams. Time leading us on different paths, I had lost touch with him for many years, but I would punctually say to myself I should try to get in touch with him again if only for a lunch sometimes. Although this will unfortunately no longer be possible, I will not forget Dan who has certainly left this planet way too soon. My deepest sympathy to all his family and dear ones.
