elevated tBx5p Fernando, Daphne – Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on July 8, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Leslie; adoring mother of Nigel (Nicole) and Nicole (Tishan); cherished grandmother of Nathan, Lucas, Jonah, Sybil, Claire, Grace, and Michaela. Dear sister of Marie (Haridas), Norma (Sepala), Elmo (Vilma), Carmen (Clifford), Yvonne (Anton), Maureen (Susantha), Fred (Ruki), and Yolande (Tyrone).
elevated tBx5p Due to Covid-19, a private funeral mass and entombment will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home on Monday, July 13. Charitable donations made to the North York General Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Daphne was a beautiful lady who faithfully served our parish community.
We have known Daphne and her husband Leslie for nearly fifty years, and our families have been there for each other at all important occasions and milestones that came about in life – celebration of births, christenings, marriages and most of all being there as very trusted friends. As we all know, very devout Catholics, Daphne and Leslie have been a very loving and an inseparable pair who dedicated their lives to bring up their children to be who they are today. Daphne will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
At this very sad juncture, our prayers and heartfelt condolences go to Leslie, son Nigel (Nicole), daughter Nicole(Tishan), grandchildren and the entire family.
May Daphne’s soul rest in perfect peace.

We are so saddened by the demise of our dear lifelong friend Daphne. Please accept our deepest condolences.
It is really heartbreaking to think that our dearest Daphne will no longer be with us. No words can express our grief. I have known and cherished her company my entire life. Daphne was a gentle, kind and noble person, always willing to help others. Daphne and Leslie readily opened up their home to us when we came to Canada where we stayed for quite sometime till we got settled down. We will be ever grateful to them for helping us in our hour of need. I am going to miss her tremendously. May Daphne’s soul Rest in Peace and may God give peace and comfort to all her family to bear this inordinate loss. She will be forever in our hearts.
