When I moved to Jamaica in 1979, I was a frequent guest of the Sisters of Saint Francis, who lived on Drumblair Crescent in the home of Albert and Daphne Chung. Years later I met her in Toronto and then again in California when she came to help her sister recover from heart surgery. I found her warm, radiant, and charming. She could cook. May she enjoy the heavenly banquet
Our deepest condolences for all the Family over the loss of such a significant and important person in your lives. There not much someone can say to ease your feelings but keep in mind that she’s with Our Father now. Stay strong for each other and be safe.

Albert and family – so sorry for your loss. Daphne always “lighted up the room” and had a gift for making every one “feel special” Daphne was a great listener – and would give the person speaking her complete and total attention. I will miss our “chats”

Dear Uncle Albert & Family,
We have just been watching the burial ceremony via webinar. It was indeed a very warm and emotional sendoff.
Please accept our deepest sympathies and keep your spirits up.
Kind regards, Kay, Rod, Mike & Katie.
My deepest condolences to the entire family. I knew Daphne from Good Shepherd. She would sit with my dad for mass while I was in the choir. I would often see them deep in conversation before and after mass. Daphne would speak so highly of her family and was so proud of them all. She was so sweet and kind with such a warm smile. God bless.
We will miss Daphne. She had a kind and generous nature. We always felt very welcomed while visiting and she’d never let us leave without giving us something to take home. I still use her tips when cooking to this day, who wouldn’t like to learn form the best cook. Albert, you and your family are in our thoughts, take comfort in the sweet memories you’ve accumulated over the past 67 years.
Dear Albert and family, we can’t express the deep felt sorrow we feel on Daphane’s passing. Many years ago she gave us a bun for Easter and it was the best. I have used her recipe every year since then. She always talked so kindly about mom and dad. She was always understanding and forgiving. She is dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Junior and Ruth
Dear Uncle Albert, I was speaking with my Doctor a few weeks ago about Aunt Daphne. The last time I saw her was probably the late 60’s, early 70’s when she visited us at Sheppard Avenue West, when she brought ingredients for a delicious meal she cooked for our family, and how I felt her kindness inside. As I was sharing this with my Doctor, I cried. Kindness always touches the heart. Uncle Albert… “May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face and my the rains fall soft upon your fields, until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of His hands. Sincerely
Angela-I just picked up this message. Can you please call me at your convenience? Uncle Albert
