David Coleman Jang passed away suddenly on December 9th, 2023. David was born in Toronto, Ontario, on February 15th, 1999, and lived most of his life in Richmond Hill. He attended Saint John Paul II Catholic Elementary School, St. Robert’s Catholic Secondary School, and Brock University, where he graduated with a degree in business.
elevated LxWkp David was a great lover of basketball, and his family has fond memories of games and tournaments with the Vaughn Panthers. He was an avid gamer who loved the spirit of competition.
elevated LxWkp David is remembered by his family as a loyal, caring, and generous son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. His family cherished the twenty-four years of amazing memories they shared with David that were filled with love and laughter.
elevated LxWkp David is survived by his mother, Kathleen Coleman, his father, Hin Sing Jang, and his sister Eve Coleman Jang, as well as his grandparents, Helen Coleman, and Hong and Kim Jang.

I also lost a son Sean 65 years ago suddenly. The heartache will always be there but the precious memories also grow even sweeter with the passage of time.

As soon as i was notified of David’s tragic passing, i reminisced on the memories i’ve had of conversating with him in class at St. Roberts. It was an 11th grade world-religions class if im not mistaken where i sat right in front of him, he’d often initiate conversations with me and we would laugh about anything really. I would not say i was close to him, but with any conversation i had with him, i did not feel distant from him either. David was a phenomenal human being. It hurts me when I remember those moments. I remember them nontheless as that is really all we can do to keep his memory alive.
To his family, his siblings, his sister, Eve, I am truly sorry for your loss, I pray God sends his utmost Love and Mercy upon David, and grant him an eternal abode in Paradise. I pray that God grants you solace In these dark times.
David, I am sorry I wasn’t able to properly establish a friendship with you. Thank you for being a solid individual, thank you for giving me those laughs. Rest In Peace, Rest In Paradise.
