It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Sansone, a devoted wife, loving mother, and the heart of her family. Diana fought bravely and with great strength, holding onto life with hope and determination, but God had other plans.
Diana was the beloved wife of Robert Sansone, a caring and devoted partner whose love and support she cherished deeply. She was a wonderful and selfless mother to her two children Julia (Cristian) and Michael (Giordana), whom she raised with endless love, guidance, and dedication. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Adriano, who brought her immense joy.
Diana leaves behind her sisters Maria (Richard) and Suzy, and her brothers Danny and Rick (Rebecca), with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, love, and deep family bonds.
Diana was truly the backbone of her family, always putting others first, caring for her home, and ensuring that her loved ones were supported in every way.
Strong, loving, and deeply caring, Diana lived life with passion and energy. She had a vibrant spirit and a contagious love for life, always positive and always eager to dance. Her warmth, liveliness, and joy brought light to everyone around her, and her presence filled any room with love and laughter.
Above all else, Diana will be remembered for her strength and faith, and her dedication to her beloved St. Thérèse of Lisieux, who inspired her to see flowers amid thorns. Though her time with us feels far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Dearest Robert, Julia, and Michael, and my dear Maria, Suzie, Danny, and Ricky,
My heart is so heavy as I sit to write this, and it is truly hard to believe that Diana has left us.
Having grown up with her since childhood, just across the street, I feel as though a part of my own history has gone with her.
To Maria, Suzie, Danny, and Ricky, your family has always felt like my own. I have shared in your joys and your pain over the years, and my heart breaks alongside yours now. Diana was truly a sister to me, and that bond is something I will always carry.
I will always remember Diana for how incredibly kind and empathetic she was. She had that rare gift of seeing into people’s hearts and putting their struggles before her own.
I will never forget how she helped me face my own grief after I lost my parents. She sent me daily reminders to keep the faith and gave me religious tokens that I still treasure to this day.
She was effortlessly comical, full of life, with a wonderful spirit and a sense of adventure that drew people to her. Anyone who knew Diana would know she was always reaching out to lift others up, finding the brighter side.
I will always hold onto the memory of her expressive, smiling eyes that were truly indescribable. She had a certain light about her that made you feel better simply by being in her presence.
Diana faced such an incredibly difficult road, yet her faith remained a constant throughout it all. It was so deeply part of who she was, giving her a quiet strength she carried every day.
Robert, having known you since the day you and Diana first met, I have always admired the life you built together. Seeing the way you stood by her with such devotion and tenderness was a true testament to the love you shared. She was also incredibly proud of Julia and Michael, and I know her spirit and her light will live on through them and her precious new grandchild.
It feels wrong to imagine this world without her in it, but Diana leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will never fade.
She was a gift to all of us, and I will carry her memory with me always.
With all my love and deepest sympathy,
Janice

Dear Deacon Robert & family
We’re so grateful to God for His many graces and especially for the blessing to have come to know Diana and all of you.
We know that in this life, we’ll never understand why one so loved and needed would be called home so soon.
But we also know that His ways are not our ways and that in the fullness of time all will be revealed through His perfect timing, until then we wait in joyful hope.
We pray that our dear sister and your precious Diana is already in the eternal presence of our Lord, preparing a place for us, until then our prayer is:
“Go forth, Christian soul, from this world in the name of God the almighty Father, who created you, in the name of Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, who suffered for you, in the name of the Holy Spirit, who was poured out upon you, go forth, faithful Christian. May you live in peace this day, may your home be with God in Zion, with Mary, the virgin Mother of God, with Joseph, and all the angels and saints” – Amen
With much love,
