Dolores Cristobal Fajardo, passed away peacefully on New Years Day, 2026 at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga. Born on June 22, 1927 in Rizal, Philippines to parents Manuel and Adela Cristobal. She was a beloved wife of her late husband Toby Fajardo, stepmother of Edward and Zeny Fajardo, stepmother of Myrna Fajardo, Alfredo Fajardo and Lolita Fajardo. Dolores was predeceased by her siblings Lydia Cristobal, Conception Cristobal and Cristino Cristobal. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Siony Cristobal, and by her nieces and nephews and their families; Marina and Darrell Legere, Manie and Maripat Cristobal (RJ Cristobal, Madelaine Cristobal), Chris Cristobal, and Paul and Cheryl Cristobal (Devin Cristobal, Jessie Cristobal).
elevated jKvgg Dolores was known for her zest for life, quiet strength and a deep faith in God. This was recognized by all who knew her and loved her. After immigrating to Canada with her niece Marina and her nephews Manie and Chris, Dolores established her life in Toronto where she worked as a receptionist at Sick Children’s Hospital and an Education Resource Worker for the Toronto Separate School Board. When she lived in Toronto, Dolores married her childhood sweetheart Toby. Dolores truly loved her husband and embraced his children as her own. Toby and Dolores later moved to Mississauga and made it their permanent home. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dolores’ strong faith carried her throughout her life. It was her faith that gave her strength to overcome the challenges she experienced but she also believed that the blessings she received happened through the grace of God. Her legacy of unconditional love and unwavering faith will forever live in our hearts.
