It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Domenico Calo, who passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the age of 83. Domenico was born on February 25, 1943, in Molfetta to the late Girolamo and Isabellangela Calo. He was the beloved brother of the late Paolo Calo, Marta Calo, and Elisabetta Calo. On January 4, 1969, Domenico married Serafina Calo (née Monniello), with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage, family, and friendship.
elevated 50G0A Domenico was a dedicated hairdresser who took great pride in his work before retiring. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially gardening, and found great joy in spending time with family and friends. Sharing meals with those he loved brought him immense happiness and created many cherished memories around the table.
elevated 50G0A He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Serafina Calo; his daughter, Isa Cavaco (née Calo), and son-in-law, Paul Cavaco; and his cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Alyssa Cavaco. Domenico’s warmth, kindness, and love for family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
elevated 50G0A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will take place at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.

Isa, I am so deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. My heart goes out to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. Please know I’m thinking of you and here if you need anything.
