It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Domenico Guerra. God called onto Domenico on Friday March 6, 2026.
Beloved husband of Teresa. Loving father of Daniel and Adam. Cherished brother of Vito (Erma) and Mariella. Brother-in law of Rosemary (Mike), and Tony (Deceased). Adored Zio of Marcella (Peter), Daniela (Domenic), Joseph, Angela and Giulia, and great Zio of Matthew, Massimo, Angelica, and Christian. Devoted son of Angela (Giuseppe-Deceased) and son in law of Nicola and Enza.
Domenico was born on January 10, 1968 in Toronto, Ontario. He was a hard working man who went to great lengths to provide for his family. He was a generous, kind hearted and giving individual. He was selfless and would give you the shirt off his back. His smile was contagious, and he lit up every room. His joyful nature was a bright light in the eyes of everyone he met.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of his extended family and friends.

You meet a lot of people over the years. Most pass through. A few leave a mark.
Dom was one of those people.
For 15 years, he was my go-to person for hardware supply, but that description hardly does him justice. I spoke to him every other day, sometimes more, to place orders, track down parts, or help solve problems on site. No matter what I brought to him, Dom always found a way to help. And if he didn’t have the answer right away, he would always get back to you. He never left you hanging, even after hours.
That says a great deal about the kind of man he was.
Being hardworking is one thing. Being truly reliable is something deeper. It means people come to depend on you because they know you care, you follow through, and you take pride in doing things properly. That was Dom. Quietly dependable, hardworking, and always willing to help, he became as much a part of our team as anyone else.
Over the years, he became far more than someone we ordered from. He was someone we trusted completely, and someone whose presence made things easier and steadier for all of us.
People like Dom leave a lasting impression, not because they demand attention, but because of the way they show up for others, day after day. I feel very fortunate to have known him and worked with him for so many years.
He was a good man, and the world is diminished by his absence, and I will miss him dearly.

Dom was my next door neighbour for ten plus years and a dear freind. Our boys grew up together. We raised our families together with open arms and the door to our homes were always open. Countless birthdays, Christmas, New years, Easter you name it our families shared them together. Dom had a unique ability to connect with anyone and always had a calming effect when you were around him. Everyone I’ve ever introduced to Dom loved him. Although this hurts really bad, I’m grateful to have met and spent so much time with such a special man. To Teresa, Daniel and Adam, I am and always will be a phone call away.

On many days for the last 20 years , being around your family was always a pleasure. I always looked forward to spending even a short time chatting with you at work. You can’t have that same feeling anywhere in the world that was felt at your place of business. Simple hardware store turned into like being part of the family. Its very special to me.I’m shocked and very sad about this. You will be very very missed. My condolences, sympathies , and prayers are with you all.
