elevated SZ47Y It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dominic Gerald D’Souza on November 17, 2022. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Julie of 60 years and his daughters Doreen (Dave), Diana (John), Debra (Cyril) and his grandchildren Caitlin, Jennifer, Ethan and Lucas. Dominic was predeceased by his parents Carmeline and Cajetan and his siblings Apolon, Anne, Jerome and Anthony. He will be remembered dearly by his siblings Lucy, Romaldine, Salvador (Ceuzita), John (Mahlen) and brother in law Anthony (Maggie) and his many nieces and nephews. Dominic had enjoyed life to the fullest. His mantra was that life was to be celebrated with family and friends. He was very generous and touched many lives by always providing a helping hand to many. He always had a strong devotion to his Catholic Faith. May eternal rest be granted unto him and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Dear Doreen
I came to know your father at the lovely Christmas parties that you and Dave hosted.
When your Dad spoke with me it was with his full attention. He would ask with interest about my family and then tell me with great humility and pride about his wife, his three daughters and the grandchildren.
I remember the speech he gave at your and Dave’s wedding where his words flowed so freely and lovingly from his heart.
He was truly a special man.
I am saddened for the loss of his physical presence that You, Dave , your mother , your sisters and their families are feeling so intensely.
We know he is with our Heavenly Father .
We have you , your mother and family surrounded with Love and Prayer
Our deepest condolences
Mary-Charlotte & Alex
Dear Julie, Doreen,Diana, and Debra and your respective families.
Firstly, our sincere and deep condolences to each one of you on this sad loss.
Your Dad had a genuine passion for getting people together, socially, or for any other family events. He always made time for his family and friends.
And, we will certainly miss his distinct “dance moves” as well as his famous barbequed chicken!! He never grumbled about life, but took the opportunity to enjoy every facet, no matter what the occasion.
Dominic, you will be greatly missed but especially, whenever there is a social gathering or any other celebration. Rest in peace.
In sympathy,
Winnie DSouza

Dear Julie and family,
Our deepest sympathy and condolences to you on the passing of your beloved husband, dad and grandfather Dominic. I know from his sisters that he was like a second dad and strong confidant to the. We were so fortunate to meet him and spend time with him in Karachi for Michael’s wedding and then again in Canada. He loved life and enjoyed entertaining friends. I will never forget how he came to pick us up when we visited Canada and prepared an impromptu meal for us and forced us to stay for an evening barbecue.
He has lived his life well and can now enjoy the rewards of Heaven. Treasure all the happy memories he created with you together. You are in our thoughts and prayers!
Love
Rosalyn, Susana and Christopher DMello
