elevated mhOuP It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donato Liberatore. God called onto Donato on October 31, 2023 at the young age of 60. Beloved husband of Claudia. Loving father of Michael and Alexandra (Lee). Cherished brother of Filomena (Joe) and adored brother in law of Carmen (Raff), Benny (Maria) and Tony (Dee). Devoted Zio to many nieces and nephews. Danny had a passion for the good things in life. All that knew him were touched by his kindness and positivity. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation. May he rest in peace.

I am truly heartbroken to hear of Danny’s passing. He was an extraordinary human being who radiated love for everyone fortunate enough to have known him. Danny’s contagious smile had the power to brighten even the darkest mornings. I remember those 5:30 am spin classes, and he would walk in, full of joy, just happy to be there.
Danny’s warmth and positivity were an inspiration to all of us. He made the world a better place with his presence. His memory will forever live on in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to guide us.
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Danny’s legacy of love and kindness will forever be cherished.

I am still incredibly shocked that we lost Danny. He was a giant amongst our group of friends at Lifetime and an integral part of our group. He will be dearly missed. Danny was a great human being and a role model for all of us. He always spoke very highly of his wife and children. I had so much respect for the man. My deepest condolences to his family. I am truly heart broken over Danny’s passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Danny about 10 years ago at my first National Business Conference with Raymond James. We became fast friends after comparing our histories and finding out we both attended York U at the same time. Danny reached out to me many times and always stayed in touch until our next NBC gathering. I always got a kick out of the pictures he would text me of his Gaggia Expresso Machine or the new brick wood burning Pizza Oven in his back yard. Or the Wine making process in his garage and sausage making. I felt like I was there with him!! When we got together in person we would laugh until we cried. Danny would literally have tears rolling down his cheeks he was laughing so hard. Especially when I teased him about all the ‘Enzo’s in their Z28’s’ driving around Toronto in the 1980’s. Apparently he had family or friends named Enzo who drove a Z28!!! Boy did we laugh. I will miss that Man dearly as many others will. I am just so grateful I had the opportunity to meet and share some quality time with him. Godspeed my Friend.

We are so saddened to hear about Danny’s passing. Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to you Claudia, Michael and Alexandra. My sympathies to my dear friend Fil and family. I can only imagine the deep sorrow and loss you feel. I was blessed to have known him. I met Danny and Claudia through being good friends with his sister Filomena. Danny had the best laugh and smile. My husband Leo and I would often meet Claudia and Danny at Costco and catch up in the aisles or produce refrigerator. Our last memory of Danny was sharing one of my teacher stories in the fridge and we were all laughing to the point of tears. Thank you for these wonderful memories and chats. Your laughter, kindness and warm hugs will stay with me and put a smile on my face. Claudia we send you and your family all our prayers and comforting hugs in this time of loss. We love you !!! Danny’s bright light and warm smile shines incessantly down upon us. God Bless you Danny. Rest in peace with God and your parents, until we meet again in Heaven.

Every day he would bring a smile to the gym as part of his workout. He would always spoil us with treats of bread and special baked cookies or scones. He had a unique wit and charm that most people do not have.
I remember clearly every Wednesday at spin class he would say ”boys let’s get it done” and when class was over he would say “ that was tuff but great work out “.
At the end of our workout we would all meet up in the sauna for a daily court of discussions as Fernando would say Farther Danny is speaking . Danny would always bring smiles and laughter to gathers and I will miss him

I met Danny years ago at Lifetime, where we both attended early morning spin classes and hot yoga sessions. He was a standout presence there, always radiating with joy and vitality. Over the years, I stopped going to the gym, but we stayed in touch, and he became a mentor in my baking adventures.
Just two weeks ago, we had a conversation about making sourdough focaccia and his recovery from a cold. He had a remarkable ability to guide and uplift me with his messages, brightening my day every time he checked in. Since his passing, not a single day has gone by without me wanting to send him a message with pictures of my sourdough creations in his memory.
Danny, I miss you dearly, and I’ll continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Claudia ,I was stunned to hear of Danny’s passing the few times we met up at the Pasta’s we always got along so easily, Danny was the perfect match for you.A great father to Michael and Alexandra, he will be missed, although I am sure in his short life he left with memories that will bring many smiles.
