elevated LZ2He Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Marie Racippo, who left us peacefully and surrounded by family, on December 10, 2025, at the age of 81. A longtime resident of Thornhill, Donna was the heart of her family—their guiding light, their steady presence, and their greatest source of love.
elevated LZ2He Donna lived a life centred around the people she cherished most. She adored her three beautiful daughters and embraced her role as the proud matriarch of a large, close-knit family. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 62 years, Barry Racippo, and the most loving mother to Dayna Fitzpatrick (Philip), Heather Nummey, and Meagan Racippo. Donna’s joy grew with the arrival of her grandchildren, each of whom she treasured deeply: Madison, Courtney (Colin), Blake, Emily, Hayley, and Mateo.
elevated LZ2He Donna was also a beloved sister to David Sorenson (Deborah) and Margaret Graham (Peter) with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering family bonds.
elevated LZ2He Donna found beauty and happiness in life’s simple pleasures—flowers in bloom, peaceful days at the cottage, and a celebratory glass of champagne shared with those she loved. She had a warm spirit that drew people in and a kindness that made everyone feel welcome. To her friends, she was loyal and generous; to her family, she was everything.
elevated LZ2He She loved without limits and lived each day for the people around her. Donna’s legacy is one of unconditional love, quiet strength, and deep connection. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever by all who were blessed to know her.
