It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Dora Rendina at the age of 94, at her residence in Toronto. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Umberto, as well as her dear sister Maria and brother Augusto. Dora is now reunited with them in heaven.
elevated Xh7qv Dora will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Emily DeAngelis (Peter), and her cherished grandson, Adriano DeAngelis. She is also survived by her brothers, Orfelio and Vittorio, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
elevated Xh7qv Throughout her life, Dora was known for her unwavering love for her family, her warm smile, and her quiet strength. Her devotion to those she loved was evident in all she did, and her memory will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
elevated Xh7qv Visitation will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 9:15 am to 10:15 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow at the funeral home.

My heart goes out to you. Your mom’s love will always be part of you, and nothing can take that away. Losing a mother is heartbreaking, and I can’t imagine the pain you’re feeling. Please know you’re in my thoughts, and I’m sending you love and strength.

We will miss Zia Dora.
I am so grateful that my daughter Emily and I got the chance to see her again last year. There are so many wonderful memories that I will cherish, from the first moment we met in 1976 to visiting her over the years.
One funny memory I have is when we visited Niagara Falls together and we stopped to have lunch. From her car, she pulled out so many pots of home made food she had prepared when all I was expecting was a sandwich.
She was very generous and devoted to her family. I was lucky to have been a a part of that.
