elevated KT3ga It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Doriana Nicastri (née Marino), who passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at the age of 68, with her loving children by her side.

elevated KT3ga Doriana was a devoted wife to Basilio for 43 years, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and raised their four children.

elevated KT3ga She was a devoted and deeply loving mother to her four children, Fernando (Diana), Alessandro (Priscille), Rita, and Claudia (Sean). She was also a cherished grandmother to her three granddaughters, Mila, Sofia, and Viviana, who brought immense joy to her life.

elevated KT3ga Above all else, Doriana treasured her family. Her children and grandchildren were at the heart of her life, and the love and devotion she had for them were immeasurable. She found great happiness in cooking for those she loved, travelling, and ballroom dancing. These passions, along with the many memories she created with family and friends, will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

elevated KT3ga Doriana faced the final nine months of her life with remarkable courage and strength, fighting fiercely until the very end. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, her devotion to her family, and the strength with which she lived her life.

elevated KT3ga Doriana is now reunited with her beloved mother, Francesca, whose passing just under two years ago left a profound absence in her life. May they now rest peacefully together.

elevated KT3ga The family wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for the exceptional care and support they provided Doriana throughout the past 26 years. The family also extends its sincere thanks to the healthcare team at Etobicoke General Hospital for the compassion, dignity, and care shown to Doriana during her final days.

elevated KT3ga Doriana will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, family, and all those whose lives she touched.

elevated KT3ga A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Funeral Home. Family, friends, and all those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to attend the Funeral Mass. The burial will take place privately with Doriana’s immediate family.
