elevated gT8tA Obituary

Doris Ann Finnegan (nee Shepherd), celebrated her 100th birthday on May 20, 2025. Mom we are grateful to have had you in our lives for so many years !!
With sadness we announce that Doris left us on November 17, Loving wife to John Angus (pre-deceased 1989). Doris is survived by 5 children: Mary-Anne Di Adamo, Susan (Robert
Bagatto), Donna, Nancy (Mark Hodsdon), Martin (Dorothy Teixiera). Doris was predeceased by 3 sons: Paul 2018 (Pat Jeddore), Peter 2024 (Peggie Seamans), and Tommy in 1975. Wonderful Grandmother of 14, Great Grandma of 19 and Great Great Grandma of Amelia.

elevated gT8tA Doris is the last of the family of 13 of Samuel Shepherd and Sarah Wilson. She was born in the house on Torrens Avenue, East York. When the doctor came downstairs, and big sister Jessie
asked about the baby? The doctor replied, it’s a girl; if she makes it. She did make it !! to her 100th year. Although widowed for 35 years Doris maintained her independence. She was guided by her faith and was a long time parishioner of All Saints Church, Etobicoke. She had a love of crossword puzzles, Christmas and gift giving, especially to the little ones, and was a staunch Blue Jay fan. Mom thank you for setting the bar on how to age, independently and unselfishly.
