elevated QoydT Sadly on June 5th we said goodbye.
elevated QoydT “Pop-Pop” peacefully slipped away at the age of 93 years. He loved his family and friends, going fishing and enjoying life.
elevated QoydT Born in Cabanatuan City, Philippines, Arturo worked as an anesthesiologist in St. John’s, Newfoundland for many years and loved the people he worked with and the good times they shared.
elevated QoydT He is survived by his wife of 66 years Amelia, children Maria (Edgar), Arturo Jr. (Bethany), Ramon (Pascale) and Sean (Andrea), grandchildren Adrienne (Mario), Daniel, Ean, Evan, Mark, Marissa, Conor, Braden, Anna and Sasha, and a great granddaughter Lilith of Adrienne and Mario. Arturo also has a tremendous number of extended cousins, nieces and nephews.
elevated QoydT Special thanks to the nurses of Villa Forum long term care, Mississauga, ON who looked after Arturo in his final years with exceptional compassion.
elevated QoydT Arturo was cremated June 9, 2021 at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
elevated QoydT An in-person celebration of life will be held at a later date.
