Duilio Caruso, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 90.
Born in Alberona, Foggia, Italy, he immigrated to Canada in 1953 to build a new life.
He married Rosaria Trigiani and raised three loving children, Domenic (Patty), Carolina (Tony) and Annetta. He was a proud grandfather to Alyssa, Adam (Kristen), Leo ( Zuri) and Sabine, and great-grandfather to Gioia. He built a family home and a cottage, symbolizing his love for family and belief in hard work.

elevated 6sXGl Duilio had a long career at the Richmond Hill Fire Department, at a time when immigrants seldom became firefighters.

elevated 6sXGl He built a strong and supportive foundation for his family, which has had a lasting impact on his loved ones. His life spanned nine decades, marked by many achievements.

elevated 6sXGl He received outstanding care at Sherwood Court LTC, and in his final days at Castellucci Vaughan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

elevated 6sXGl Duilio is now at peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and support. He will be deeply missed by his family & friends.

elevated 6sXGl In lieu of flowers, because of his love of gardening, donations to www.alivingtribute.ca or  alternatively Mackenzie Health Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
