elevated YewGR It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earle Walker on September 2, 2023 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Earle was born July 17, 1931 in Montreal, Quebec. He was the oldest of two siblings. He graduated from Westhills high school and after graduation he went to work for Dominion Securities and then was Vice-President of RBC Dominion Securities until his retirement. That is where he met the love of his life, Eileen and they were married in November 1971. Shortly after that he transferred from Montreal to Toronto where they resided until his passing.
elevated YewGR Earle was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Gladys and his wife Eileen and Nephew Earle Forrest. He is survived by his sister Zelma (the late Leslie Forrest), who he was not only a brother but became a father figure after their fathers passing in 1949. He is also survived by his nieces Leslie Ann Reber (Norman), his niece Donna Bartelen (Mike), their children and grandchildren.
elevated YewGR Earle was a very soft spoken, generous and kind man, with quite a sense of humor. He loved to bowl and golf and was an avid sports fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
elevated YewGR A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.
I worked with Earle at Dominion Securities. He was good friend
Earle and I will no longer be able to solve all the world’s problems as we worked out in the Gazebo exercise room for many years. It is very boring exercising without him. I do miss him a lot. He is now with his beloved wife, but all too soon.
