It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Edda Barbiero (nee Persia) on June 17, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 57 years to Domenic. Loving mother of Linda (Michael), Jennifer, and Michelle (GianCarlo). Proud Grandma of Milan, London, Olivia, Roman and Beaux. Dear sister of Natalie (late Giovanni), Anna (late Louie), Patrizia Iole (late Maurizio) and Janet (Ian). Edda will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Dear Barbiero Family,
My heart breaks for each one of you. Your mother was a beautiful woman. I will always cherish the times I sat at her table as she welcomed me into her home. Please accept mine, Rick’s, Milana, Nicholas’s heartfelt condolences. We will continue to lift up prayers for your family. May the Holy Family be your comfort during this time of deep grief.
