elevated 0Yl8F God called Edward “Ned” Nevin peacefully on September 16, 2024 at the age of 87. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Phyllis. Cherished by his dear children David (Dana), Philomena (Darryl) and Alexandra (Manfred). Proud grandfather to Connor, Courtney, Cayden, Cuinn, Cruz, Ashley, Dillon, Briony and Nevin. He will always be remembered by his brother Martin, and his beloved nephews and nieces. Ned is now reunited in Heaven with his siblings, Bridget, Elizabeth, Margaret, Ellen, John, Michael, Thomas and Kathleen. Ned’s devotion to those he loved, sharp wit and strength of character will forever be cherished and honored by his family, relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Edward Nevin may be made to the North York General Foundation.

Fondly remembered as The best hockey grandpa ever! He was the boys number 1 fan. Always cheering them on from the stands and offering his feedback after the games! He was an integral part of our memories of that special time in our children’s lives. Holding you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Ned made me smile every time I saw him. Most of the time I would break out in laughter too before we even started talking. Then we would share our opinions on unimportant matters and laugh again! He was a very good soul.
I will miss him very much!

Our sincere message of sympathy on your great loss goes out to Eddie’s wife Phyllis and to his daughters Philomena and Alexandra and his son David and their families and to Ned’s many close friends and relations both in Ireland and in Canada but most especially to his brother Martin and many nephews and nieces in Ireland.
