elevated ZV0Mm Elena was born in Termini Imerese, Sicily, Italy on April 1st, 1929.  She arrived in Canada by ship on December 1957 through Pier 21 in Halifax as many did before her to begin a new chapter of her life. On January 8th, 1958 she married Giuseppe the love of her life, and together they shared 41 years to create a beautiful family.

elevated ZV0Mm Elena was gentle, sociable, and full of life. Her smile had a way of touching those she met and her face would light up anytime she would see a loved one or a friend.  She truly enjoyed playing Briscola and Scopa with anyone who was up to the challenge. She looked forward to Bingo nights with fellow residents and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, RAI TV and so many tv game shows.  But most of all, she enjoyed having a cup of coffee with family and friends.

elevated ZV0Mm Today, she is reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Giuseppe “Pino”.

elevated ZV0Mm A mother’s love never dies. And neither will ours for her.
