elevated nN8o6 It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Elsa Pierina Colussi, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

elevated nN8o6 Elsa was a devoted wife to Firmino for almost 70 years. She was a loving mother to Elio (Claudia), Jorge (Late Loretta), and Norma (Bruce) and a proud grandmother to Andrea, Letizia, and Alessia.

elevated nN8o6 Elsa will be remembered fondly by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. 

elevated nN8o6 Elsa and her family came to Canada from Argentina in November of 1973, seeking a better life and bringing with them a rich culture and deep love for family.

elevated nN8o6 Elsa expressed her love through her hands and her heart. She loved to sew and knit for her family, creating countless pieces of clothing that wrapped her children in her care over the years. She was also a wonderful cook and baker, best known for her beloved alfajores and empanadas – two delicacies of Argentina.

elevated nN8o6 Elsa was delighted in winning at cards, especially at her favorite game, scala quaranta. In her later years, she found happiness in attending her weekly bingo games, enjoying the fun and friendship it brought her.

elevated nN8o6 Elsa leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, and togetherness that will live on in her family and friends forever. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
