It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elsa Silia (nee: Monaco) on December 20, 2025 at Bradford Valley Long Term Care at the age of 86. Born on February 3, 1939 in Macchiagodena, Campobasso, Italy to parents Carmine and Maria. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Carmine and daughter Giovanna. Loving mother of Steve (Serena), Mike (Debra). Devoted mother-in-law of Danny. Proud Nonna of Peter (Svet), Carmen (Bianca), Rebecca (Andrew), Natalie (Angelo), Michelle (Nick) and Michael (Amanda). Caring great-grandmother of Dimo, Alex, Veronika, Rocco, Giovanna, Mila, baby girl M on her way, Nicholas and Thomas.
Her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be remembered for her compassion, her unwavering loyalty, and the love she showed to her family and friends throughout her life.
May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in eternal peace.
