It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Elvira D’Onofrio, in Woodbridge at the age of 95. She passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
elevated S4bL1 Elvira was born in Roccamorice, Italy, to Giuseppe Rosati and Anna Rosati (née Pietrangelo). She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Giovanni D’Onofrio (passed in 2004).
elevated S4bL1 She will be forever cherished by her children Bart (Kati) and Anna Maria (Demetrio) Di Persio.
elevated S4bL1 Elvira was a proud and adored Nonna to Daniel (Tanya), David (Miriam), Robert (Antonella), Christopher (Patricia), and Michael, and a loving Bisnonna to Nicholas, Isabella, Adam, Christian, Alexander, Olivia, Juliana, and Adam.
elevated S4bL1 She was a dear sister to Rosalina (Biagio) Rosati, and is predeceased by her siblings Rocco (Maria) Rosati, Francesco (Assunta) Rosati and Assunta (Luca) Rosati.
elevated S4bL1 Elvira’s legacy of love, strength, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
