elevated 9ISQW It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss we announce the peaceful passing of Elvira Tan on March 9, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Eduardo. Loving mother to Geoffrey (Elizabeth), Edelyne (Naeem) and Howard. Beloved Lola to Gavin (Bethany), Aileen (Diedric), Matthias, Keira, Nathan, Raphael, Bernadette, Gabriel, Roisin, Zachariah and Eleanor. Proud great-grandmother to Jackson Eduardo. Adored sister to Zenaida, Cecile, Antonio and the Late Caroline and Anita. Elvira will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten. Your thoughts and kindness are truly appreciated during this time of sorrow

Dear Geoff, Elizabeth and family. My dearest sympathies in the loss of your mom, mother in law and grandma to your children. How precious to all of you she lived with you in the past year and also her last moments on this earth. Those special moments will never be forgotten and always treasured in your hearts. Elvie is a highly admirable person, a model of love, kindness and generosity. Indeed she is someone I will truly miss. I thank the Lord for the gift of Elvie.
For the decades I have known Elvie, I witnessed her give her efforts to help the disadvantaged. First at the Good Shepherd Sister’s Sharing Fair, Gawad GK and Klik me. I was amazed how she cared and shared her many gifts. Elvie, I know where you belong and I trust it is exactly where you are with your beloved Ed and many loved ones enjoying your eternal home. Thank you for your infectious zeal and compassion. Much ❤️
Elvie is a dear crusader for the plight of the poor and a devoted Catholic witnessing love of God. Thank you Elvie for your life and presence in the community. Eternal rest grant unto Elvie.
You gave more of yourself, your time and resources as a volunteer. A true servant leader. You will be missed. Rest in peace now in the loving arms of the Lord. He has called you.

It was a pleasure meeting Ms Elvira at parish functions , she always had a gentle smile on her face. She will be missed.

I will always treasure my memories of Elvie’s compassion and loving nature. I welcomed her support of me when I had a bad accident and lost no time to offer whatever I needed to help in my recovery. Elvie, i will never forget your warm and giving nature. Give Eddie a high five in Heaven for me. Intercede for us, your CHS schoolmates, we will be counting on you. As always.
