Celebrating the Beautiful Life of Ema Resendes
It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ema Resendes, who left us on Monday, September 21, 2026, just weeks away from celebrating her landmark 101st birthday.
Ema lived a full and extraordinary life, spanning over a century of history, change, and beautiful memories. She was a devoted mother and Mother-in-law to Maurina (Joe) and Jose (Filomena). As the proud matriarch of her family, her endless warmth, guidance, and love shaped the generations that follow her.
Throughout her 100 years, Ema was a constant source of strength, grace, and wisdom and although she missed her 101st birthday by just a few weeks, her family and friends will forever celebrate the profound legacy of love, resilience, and joy she left behind.
She is now peacefully reunited with her beloved husband, Guilherme, who went before her. She will be desperately missed, but never forgotten, by her loving children; her grandchildren Delkar, Sandy, Jeffrey, Steven, and Michael; her great-grandchildren Thomas Jr, Jacob, Evelyn, Quinn, Olivia, and Annabelle; and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
