elevated jjl8a Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Mississauga Trillium Hospital at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Irena for 51 years. Cherished father of Diana Barbora (Scott) and Alana Barbora-Cochrane (Brian). Grandchildren Amy (Manny), Adam. Great grandchildren Lilah, Elijah and Micah. Sister-in-law Irena Revtak and the late brother-in-law Ivan. Nieces and nephew; Jana, Karen (Joel), John (Marlene). Great nieces and nephews; Connor, Duncan, Jaaden, Jasmin, Meghan, Maaja, Mila and Ivy.
elevated jjl8a Sister Anicka (Jozef), Predeceased brother Gusto. Sister-in-law Julka, nieces and nephews; Lydka (Peter), Peter (Luba), Roman and Stanka. Great nieces and nephew; Suzana, Kathy, Ivanka and Tomas and Aunt Emilia who all reside in Slovakia.

…..a month ago we were together and so very hard to write, my eyes are in tears. I am very sorry that you will never see my family but I want to promise you that I will come to bow to Your grave. May you rest in peace. Emil was a great guy who helped many as a mechanic and as a friend. Stories about him will continue to live for years to come.

My dad was very proud being a mechanic and he was great at it.
Mr. Barbora always made me feel special. He would always greet me with a tender smile that lit up his face and would brighten mine. He worried about me, wanting to make sure I was ok, that I was well. Even when he was at his worst he would ask about me and my health and wish me well. This unselfish kindness is something I will always remember and his love is something I will never forget.
He was very protective and loved deeply and dearly Diane, Ali and Mrs. Barbora and no matter how miserable or surprisingly wonderful he could be, they loved him unconditionally. The four of them share a beautiful bond and powerful love that remains strong and will never be broken.
It has been an honour to have had a small place in Mr. Barbora’s heart, he will forever have a place in mine.
