elevated V1FoJ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emilia Bortolin, age 97, on January 13, 2021. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Americo.
elevated V1FoJ She is survived by her devoted children Gabriela (Joseph) and Sandy (Rosie), loving grandchildren, Jennifer (Jim), Michael (Antonella), Kristen (Kell), Alexander and Michael, and great-grandchildren Colten, Camden, Brielle, Christian, Julian, and Baby Lynch.
elevated V1FoJ She was a hard worker who had a passion for sewing and a long career as a seamstress, designing beautiful gowns and other special garments for many of her dear friends and family.
elevated V1FoJ Emilia’s greatest pride was her family and her greatest talent was her ability to create a warm and inviting home. She had a great reputation of being a passionate cook who enjoyed providing for her loved ones. Emilia and Americo had a home that was always full – of friends playing cards, delicious meals, and laughter.
elevated V1FoJ She will be remembered forever and dearly missed.

Dear Gabi, Jay, Rosie, Sandy and children & grandchildren,
I loved “Millie” so much! I will always remember her, all the visits at her house, all the “ciaccole” over coffee in the beautiful China cups, all the fittings for the many dresses, suits and gowns (especially my wedding gown!) she made for me. My heart is full of wonderful memories of Emilia and Americo and your family. ❤️ Sincere condolences from Vito, Aidan & Joseph as well.

I have the fondest memories of fittings for bridesmaid dresses for my sister’s weddings and then the honour of having Emilia make my own dream bride’s dress. She will be greatly missed.
