elevated qigNW On the morning of March 2nd, our sweet Chicco peacefully passed away with his wife Anna and daughter Deana by his side. He was adored by all of his family and friends. Chicco will always be remembered as being the kindest, most generous, well respected, and someone who left an imprint on everyone that he met.

My deepest condolences to Anna and all of your family on this tragic loss.
Enrico was a wonderful friend and colleague that I’ve known since the mid 1980’s from both Motorola and Samsung. He was a wonderful man who loved his family and was a loyal friend.
This is so sad. May his memory be a blessing.

To Anna and Deana, my heart goes out to you both.
I remember booking a local gym in North York for Monday night ball hockey. Needing players, we each made a point of inviting someone new. I asked Gerry at “old river” and Frank invited his neighbour, Enrico. That was more than 30 years ago. This became the “glue” for many friendships to follow.
Soon, we formed a men’s softball team in Richmond Hill and Later an organized ball hockey team which Rico sponsored through Bell Mobility. We thought it was an interesting choice going with the Colours of Sweden and he cracked a smile. It was only later we learned it was the colours of his beloved Frozinone soccer team.
Sunday’s was reserved for Golf at Bloomington. Back then, they didn’t book tee times and you had to get there early. Many a time Rico would be there at 5:30 to get us that coveted 7:30 tee time.
The best however were those epic golf vacations to Florida and the corporate golf which always provided endless laughs.
We watched Italy both win and lose in soccer and the many “spaghettatas” and get-togethers.
30 years is a long time, and life changes. Even in my busiest times, I would find a message on my phone. “Hey brother love (nickname}, I’m calling to check in and see how’s the family and how are you doing? Please call me back I want to see if you are ok”. That was him, always available and with a kind word.
Rico, until we meet again, to answer your question, the family is good but I am sad.

Dear Anna, Deana and family,
Please accept my heartfelt and deepest condolences for the passing of Enrico. I know that employees at Samsung and Rogers will remember him well for his consideration and incredible kindness that he conveyed to each of us.
Both Enrico and I started work at Samsung on the same day and on the same account. Despite all the pressure that he felt in having to develop a new account, he never transferred this pressure to the staff working in the regions. Enrico took care of his team members like a family, maintaining a genuine and engaging complicity with each of us.
It is with great sadness that I learned of his passing. The 14 years that we worked together are among my fondest memories of working at Samsung. Please know that I will keep him and you in my thoughts for a very long time.

Chicco was an amazing man who impacted my life at every family gathering. He was always the life of the party, especially at Christmas. I’ll never forget him dressing up as Santa for us as kids, I still have the photos.

I had the privilege of hiring Enrico into Samsung Electronics Canada as Corporate Account Manager for Rogers. Always the consummate professional, he would maintain an easy-going demeanor under some of the most outrageous situations from either our company or the client. After retiring in 2007, I was pleased to follow Enrico’s advancement up to his retirement last year. My former colleagues and I are deeply saddened that he was taken from us far too soon with such a joy of living and so much left to do. My condolences to his family on their loss.

I first met Enrico 17 years ago, when he was one of the people who interviewed me for my position at Samsung.
Over the years we had many chats about our daughters, who are the same age, and we kept each other up to date on milestones, as proud fathers do. I could always tell just how much he loved Deana.
Enrico always entertained me when we would discuss all things Italian, and we had some lengthy discussions about pretty much everything related to his homeland. He loved talking about Italy, and never failed to indulge me if I had a question, or relayed a personal story, about anything Italian.
Anytime I think of Enrico, I remember our Palm Springs golf trips with clients, and the related antics that came with those. I’ll miss teasing him about his obsession with the ferris wheel in Niagara Falls, one night, on a Samsung sales rally. And I’ll never forget hearing “Dennis. Coffee. Now.” every morning we’d meet in the lobby, on a business trip. Lots of great memories that I’ll never let go of.
My condolences to Anna and Deana. Know that any time he spoke of you it was with pride and with love. I’m glad to have known him.

Enrico was such an amazing person. Everyone loved and respected him in this industry. He always looked out for James and me. Samsung was my very first corporate job and he made it amazing and fun. He was also an awesome boss to James. Enrico had the best desk at Samsung. It was secluded in the corner and I used to secretly take quick naps at his desk whenever he was away on business trips. I never told him 🙂
The last text we wrote to each other was last year and he told me he couldn’t wait to travel and play golf. I know he’s playing lots of golf in Heaven right now. We’re going to miss you so much Enrico!!!
