Passed away peacefully at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill after battling cancer.
Born in Argusto, Italy on June 1st, 1941 and passed on June 6th, 2019.
Beloved father of Assunta Tunzi and father-in law to David Tunzi. Beloved grandfather to his precious grandchildren Ava, Nicole, Cassandra Tunzi and ex-spouse of Caterina Varano.
Predeceased son of Gregorio and Assunta Varano and brother Ilario Varano (Immacolata). Sister Caterina Del Giudice (predeceased brother in law Natale). Brothers Giuseppe Varano (Carmela) and Francesco Varano (Anna Maria). Will be remembered and greatly missed by all his nephews and nieces and other extended family.

Monday, June 10th at 12:00pm
St. Joseph Chapel (Holy Cross Funeral Home)
followed by a reception at the same location.

Dear varano family. I just today I learned of Ercole’s passing. I wish you the deepest of condolences. I don’t Eric for many many years consider him a friend. I know he cared very deeply for his family spoke about them often. Rest with peace my friend. You will be missed. Saverio

Our deepest condolences from our family…
I spoke to him on May 20th after I heard he moved. It saddens me he passed away. He will be greatly missed. My son, Alex, still remembers him as we lived in the same house for two year together. Rest in peace Ercole.
