In Loving Memory of Erika Rac

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erika Rac, who passed away peacefully in Toronto on September 4, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born in Hungary on February 28, 1942.

Erika was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a woman whose faith and love for her family guided her throughout her life. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Koleman Rac, with whom she shared many cherished years and memories.

Erika will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brian and Chris (Kimberley), and by her adored grandchildren, Amber, Allyson, and Cruz. She leaves behind many other loving family members and dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness, warmth, and caring heart.

Erika found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She enjoyed arts and crafts, travelling, gardening, and playing board games, but above all, she treasured her family and her grandchildren. She loved spending time with those closest to her and created countless special memories that will forever remain in their hearts.

A woman of deep faith, Erika spent much of her time in prayer, finding comfort, strength, and peace in her relationship with God. Her faith was an important part of who she was and will remain a lasting part of the legacy she leaves behind.

Though she is no longer with us, Erika’s love, prayers, and memories will live on through her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
