elevated 4c5aQ Estella Green (nee Warren)
elevated 4c5aQ Sunrise: March 31, 1927 – Sunset: December 19, 2020
elevated 4c5aQ Estella went to meet her Lord peacefully on December 19, 2020 and was greeted and embraced by her loving husband, Enos Green. Loving mother of Juliet (Austin), Movita, Richard, Warren (Deanna), Patricia (Andrew) and Angela (Peter). Cherished grandmother to Mathew (Amanda), Rochelle, Vanessa (Josh), Paige, Casey and Cody. Beloved great-grandmother to Tyrese, Qaleb and Adrianna, but affectionately called “Boobie” by everyone.
elevated 4c5aQ Estella was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica as a twin to a baby brother who unfortunately did not survive. At age 11, she lost her mother and was taken by her older half-sister, Amanda, to Kingston where she grew up. She married Enos on November 10, 1951 and migrated to England in 1956. In 1970 Estella, Enos and their six children emigrated to Canada. She worked as a domestic all while being a loving and attentive wife and mother.
elevated 4c5aQ She was married into the Catholic faith and committed to raising her children in the faith as well. At the age of 70, after the death of her husband, she made the decision to become Catholic herself and observed the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Communion and Confirmation. Her faith and love in the Lord was strong, powerful and unwavering. It was the driving force behind her outlook on life, with her often using phrases like “it’s in the Lord’s hands” and “God willing”.
elevated 4c5aQ She will be deeply missed by family and friends near and far. Her tenacity, strong-will, feistiness, wittiness and devotion to family are all characteristics that will live on in each of our hearts and memories of her. She has left behind quite a legacy and we will proudly carry on the culture and values she engrained into each one of us with pride and admiration. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

Our deepest condolences to you all. May you feel God’s comforting embrace during this difficult time. May she rest in eternal peace. 🙏
May you find peace in the cherished memories of your beloved Mom
Estelle,
You are gone from this earth to the Land of Milk & Honey where there is no pain, suffering and worries.
Although your immediate family – children and their spouses, as well as grand and great grand-children – is mourning your death, they will be comforted by the everlasting memories and bond that they created with you that will not only comfort them but also keep your memory snd values alive and will bring smiles to their faces for those times when sadness comes.
For me, Estelle embodied not only an official surrogate mother – since my mother’s death – but also someone with whom I used to talk on the telephone, when we did chat, for at least 1 hour each occurrence when she listened, provided sage opinion and was genuinely interested in my well-being and welfare. Additionally, with the above’mentioned traits, her sense of humor and laugh, as well as her classiness will forever be forged in my memory and continue to keep her memory alive.
To all, we are sad at the passining of this phenomenal woman but be thankful of the memories you made with her and know that she is not only in the arms of her Savior but also she has become one of your Guardian Angels!
Estelle … thanks for the memories … you are one of the women who inspired me and will continue to do so and I hope that if I live the values you embodied, we shall meet again.
I love you.
My condolences to you (Richard) and your family. May she Rest In Peace
