my sincere condolences to the families of Esterina, she’s a great loss to all of us, caring for her as her nurse was a pleasure we laughed together, talked together in whatever Italian language I could understand, I admitted her to the unit and I discharge her off the unit it saddens my heart to see her go, may her soul rest in peace.
Thank you for your kind words
Zia Esterina was an amazing lady. Living next door to my Nonno and cousins on the Danforth we frequently visited her as well. She loved having us even if it was unannounced with a knock at the door, she would drop what she was doing with excitement to see us every time! And like so many Italian grandmothers she loved feeding us cookies and sweets 🙂 She is a great example of living a full and happy life. It saddens me she is gone and may she rest in peace.
