elevated EdXkX On November 7th 2021 Eufemio Eligio Elaydo passed away at the age of 83. Eufemio was born on June 1st 1938 in Ansad, San Esteban Ilocos Sur Philippines, to Veronica Elaydo and Maximo Elaydo. Eufemio is survived by his loving wife Resurreccion Elaydo, his beloved children Elvie, Godofredo, Evelyn, Jerry, Chavit, Amy, Bong, and his 18 grandchildren. 

elevated EdXkX As a young man Eufemio worked hard as a farmer to support his family. Eufemio immigrated to Canada on August 3rd 1995, and after 3 years he became a Canadian citizen. 

elevated EdXkX Eufemio loved to listen to Ilocano music, dance, play ‘tong-it’, and watch ‘sabong/pallot’. He lived every day of his life with so much positivity and strength. Eufemio was a loving Husband, Father, Lolo, and friend. He was a fighter.

elevated EdXkX Eufemio will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

elevated EdXkX The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 4:00 -8:00 pm on Thursday November 11, 2021 and Friday November 12, 2021. A Private Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Saturday November 13, 2021. The final rite of committal and interment will take place privately at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill). elevated EdXkX Due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions, friends may have to wait to pay their respects during the visitation period, we are inviting family and friends to a walk-through visitation only to pay their respects, offer condolences and then kindly exit the building to allow for others to enter.
