elevated 04hyB After a courageous battle, surrounded by his three children, on Sunday September 24, 2023. Beloved husband of June (nee Tattersall) who predeceased him in 2015. Cherished father to Kim, Joanne and Eugene. Loving Papa to Melanie (Josh Druxerman), Jason Rigler (Amanda Rees), Jennie, Katie and Victoria McIntyre, Matthew, Melissa (Will Miller) and Julia Cuccia. Great-grandfather to Ben and Kate Druxerman and Mila June Rigler. Sadly missed brother to Norma LoPresti and predeceased brothers Joseph and Arthur. Dear brother-in-law to Joan McIsaac, Shirley Casagrande, Sophie Cuccia, Judy Tattersall and predeceased Florence Fossland, Dorothy Best and Bill Tattersall. Special thanks to the many friends and family who gave loving support, to kind caregivers Jocelyn, Maria, Ricky and J.B. and to the dedicated staff at North York General Hospital.

Gene and June were key merrymakers in the Caffery/Dockeray/Finlayson/Cuccia shindigs of the 80’s and 90’s. Flowers surrounded their smiles and laughs.

So sorry to hear of my Buddy’s passing, I played Jr B Hockey with Gene and we ran the George Bell hockey league. Went to St Mikes with him. I miss him and was thinking of him when I read this. So sorry to the family!
