elevated L6mlA It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Evi Kwee, who left us peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 7:17 PM, after a courageous 4.5-year battle with cancer. She passed surrounded by her loving family.
elevated L6mlA Evi was a devoted wife, a cherished mother, and a proud grandmother. She is deeply mourned by her husband, Roy Kwee; her daughters, Jacqueline (Matthew) and Francine (Shaun); and her four adoring grandchildren — Theodore, Ethan, Jaime, and Elliott — who brought immense joy to her life and were the lights of her later years.
elevated L6mlA Evi’s warmth, resilience, and strong-willed spirit made her an irreplaceable presence in the lives of those who knew her. Her unwavering devotion to her family created a legacy of compassion and grace that will continue to inspire all who loved her.

It has been a few months since I learned of Evi’s passing, which deeply saddened me. She was one of my yoga students at Movati and truly one of the kindest individuals I had the pleasure of knowing—always attentive, compassionate, and adaptable. I was unaware of her struggle with cancer until she expressed interest in a reiki healing session that I offered to clients. Unfortunately, her appointment was never arranged, as she passed away shortly thereafter, leaving me with a profound sense of loss for the opportunity to work with her.
