elevated TOQmG Ewart Christopher Leon Atherton (nee June 17, 1954) passed away peacefully at home at the age of 67, on Friday, March 25, 2022. Beloved husband of Pamela Atherton. Loving father of Tricia and Christopher (Oriana). Devoted grandfather of Gabriel, Chelsea, Luciano and Romeo. Brother of Janice, June, John, Jacqueline, Diane (deceased), Len, Avril, Ian (deceased), Ray, David, Denise, Hayden and Heather. Loved uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Brother-in-law to the Medina family. Loyal friend to many.

elevated TOQmG Ewart was born in Trinidad to Leon and Marjorie Atherton. He attended Holy Cross College and later achieved his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the West Indies. He worked as a secondary school teacher for many years. In 1989 he, his wife and children immigrated to Canada. He worked for the Government of Ontario in the Ministry of Solicitor General for over 30 years. He will be missed by numerous colleagues.

elevated TOQmG Ewart was a dedicated family man. He enjoyed travelling, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a man of faith.
