elevated i3eER It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Ezio Vizzacchero. God called onto Ezio on Saturday, December 17, 2022 and he passed away peacefully, at North York General Hospital, at the age of 68 years.
elevated i3eER Beloved husband of Gloria. Loving father of Isabella. Devoted brother of Frank (Connie). Cherished uncle of Kiersten (Jon) and Evan (Jackie) and adored great uncle of Nela. Ezio will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his many cousins, extended relatives, and friends.
elevated i3eER Ezio was born in Cassino, Italy and came to Toronto in 1964. He co-owned and worked at Rucci Menswear for over 30 years. He was very proud of his business.
elevated i3eER He was devoted to his family who will miss him very much and who will always cherish the beautiful memories of his life and his love.
elevated i3eER He was also a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays, and was very passionate about soccer. He was very athletic and enjoyed spending his time playing hockey, tennis and golf.
elevated i3eER Ezio will always be known for his kindness, bravery and ambition in many aspects of his life. He fought MS with great courage and never gave up.

Going to miss you Ezio…really enjoyed sharing those Toronto Maple Leafs season tickets together at Maple Leafs Gardens. They weren’t the best tickets but we really loved the Leafs and were big fans in the 70’s. In the summer we shared season tickets for the Toronto Argonauts. Leon McQuay dropped the ball at the 1 yard line and lost the Grey Cup we gave up our season tickets in disgust. Lot’s of memories, only good memories, no bad memories. You were one of a kind, a real character guy, you showed so much courage in your fight, they’ll never be another. We’ll miss you….
You will be missed Ezio, great father, husband, and brother in law. Nice guy, always kind with his family in Mexico, he loved mexican food , many memories with him. We will miss him.
Dear Gloria and Isabella, I am sorry to hear about Ezio’s passing. We were childhood friends and were schoolmates at Lillian Public. I remember him being so funny and a mellow guy. I heard about his battle with MS and am sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

My dear Gloria and Isabella, I cannot tell you how devastated I am over your terrible loss. I know exactly how you are feeling having been there myself many years ago. Ezio was a very sweet man with a gentle soul who will be missed by all who knew him. I was so hoping to see him one last time. I take comfort in the fact that he is no longer suffering. I also take comfort that he is now with Kathy and the two of them will be watching over all of us. May he rest in peace.

Hi Ezio you are my #1 brother. I can’t say that we hung out together growing up. We were several years apart in age and you had your close friends to go to sports events with. You played hard and I know you worked harder. Thank you for coming to my rescue and helping me in my times of difficulty nearly 23 years ago. You stayed by my side helping me grow strong again. I was honoured to have you as the best man at my wedding. Your courage has been an example to me and others for how valiantly you fought MS for 11 years. I love with all my heart. I will miss you my loving brother
