elevated NTnwK Born on January 1, 1937 in India, he was the beloved son of the late Emmanuel and Magdalene D’Souza.

elevated NTnwK Loving brother of Celestine (late Vincent), late Thomas (Christine), Bernard (Regina), late Pascal, Monsignor Mathew, the late Bishop Alphonse S.J., Pauline (Eddie), Arch Bishop Albert, Maurice (Marina), late Sister Lucy, Sister Eugene, Andrew (Jenny).

elevated NTnwK Loving uncle of 25 nieces and nephews, 36 great nieces and nephews, and great-great uncle to a niece and a nephew

elevated NTnwK Father D’Souza was ordained on December 22, 1966 in St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle, India by Bishop Joseph Albert Rosario.

elevated NTnwK Arriving in Toronto in 1979, Father D’Souza served in several parishes starting at St. Jude’s Parish, North York; St. John’s Parish, Toronto;  St. Ambrose Parish, Toronto; St. Mary’s Parish, Collingwood; St. Mary’s Parish, Brampton; Immaculate Heart of Mary, Scarborough; Saints Martha & Mary Parish, Mississauga.

elevated NTnwK Family and friends may visit at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (Bayview and Langstaff) on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  Visitation will also be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish, 3220 Bayview Avenue (Bayview and Finch).

elevated NTnwK Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish.

elevated NTnwK Interment will be at St. Augustine’s Seminary, Queen of Clergy Cemetery (2661 Kingston Road, Scarborough, ON).
