elevated lYMVx It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother. Born in Grenada and raised in St. Lucia, she was our Caribbean queen.
elevated lYMVx In 1976, she moved to Canada where she settled in Scarborough and built a life centered on her family. From 1993 to 2007, she enjoyed many happy years as a snowbird, spending her winters in Arizona.
elevated lYMVx Fay was the cherished wife of the late Donald Gale, who passed away in 2008, with whom she married in 1974.
elevated lYMVx She will be forever loved and remembered by her daughter Karen and son-in-law Dominic. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother, known affectionately as “Grandma with the black hair” to Adrian, Caitlyn, and Alyssa, who will carry her love and spirit with them always.
elevated lYMVx She was predeceased by her siblings Sheila, Eileen and Irvine. She is survived by her sister Marjorie.
elevated lYMVx The family would like to thank the team at Sunrise of Richmond Hill for making her last years so special, and the Langstaff Square community care team for their compassion and care in her final days.
elevated lYMVx If desired, donations may be made in her memory to Alzheimer’s Society of York Region.
elevated lYMVx Though she is now reunited with her beloved husband, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
elevated lYMVx May she rest in God’s eternal peace.
