Dear Siu Lam,
After all these years during which we lost contact, I am most shocked and saddened to hear that Felicia has left us. I do remember our many happy gatherings at your Chelmsford home, as well as her vivacious personality and strong, straightforward character. Those shall be long treasured, and may her rest in good peace. Please take good care of yourself, and be in touch again with an old friend.
Dear Siu Lam and Family:
It is still hard to accept that Felicia was no longer with us. As far as we are concerned, our memory of her still lives with us. We have a great deal of fond memories of our trips and gatherings in Hong Kong, Boston, New Hampshire, Vancouver, Oakland, and Yosemite. Let alone our wonderful reunion trips on the cruises. For us she and her unique personality live in our thoughts forever.
We are unable to join you in person for her memorial in Toronto, but we will join you to celebrate her celebration of life in spirit from afar.
We are certain that she is resting in peace.
With love,
Yui Hay & Suzie
Dear Siu Lam & Family:
We are inspired by, and always remember, Felica’s talents and great personality.
After she passed away, we donated some money to ” Doctors without Borders”. It is a Nobel Prize winning charity organization that saves and supports many helpless patients worldwide during wars, pandemics, and poor conditions in some needed countries.
Dorcas believes that our loved ones in Heaven will bless and support all of us to move on with our lives happily and strongly.
The donation to ‘Doctors without Borders’ was in memory of Felicia. In addition, we will also donate to the MDS Foundation in memory of Felicia.
Dear SiuLam,
I recalled how I met you & Felicia in Boston in 2014 when Fall semester just began. I recalled how almost instantly you folks agreed to be Gordon & Amber’s emergency contact in their undergrad years. I recalled how you drove a long way to pick me up from 84 Gainsborough St where I gladly set up a home base for the children. I recalled how over the years whenever we could Felicia would bring me to the eateries she loved. I recalled when I asked her why she had to work so hard in Kwong Kow when she could have freely enjoyed her retirement years.. she said one needs to do something meaningful in life regardless… my heart hurts whenever I recalled Felicia – her courage, dedication and sense of humor… she will be dearly missed & fondly remembered.
With love,
Carol
