It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Fida Mahmood at his home in Maple, on February 15, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He was a devoted husband to the late Christina (2008) for over 38 years. Cherished father to Asher (Samantha), Karen, and Naveed. Adoring grandpa to Asha. Dear brother to Nawaz (Angela), Zia (Edna), Christina (Paul), Nasim (Naeem), late Zarina (Wilbert), and Shamim. Will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dear Fida Bhai, you came into my life to bless me abundantly. I loved your singing, the lyrics keep ringing in my ears. Growing up you were so kind and loving to me. Thank you for helping me with my home work. I will always miss you. Thank God you are in Heaven meeting up with other loved ones who have gone to Heaven before you.

Its with a sad heart I never got to say goodbye. This year has been a tough time and it is with the little strength I can gather that i just wanted to say you will truly be missed. You were the funniest most merry most happy go lucky person I knew. You sang beautiful music and were extremely talented and always knew how to make us all laugh. I will miss your stories and all the knowledge you shared. I know now you are in a better place now with The Lord, your wife your mother brother and my dearest mother. Say hello to her for me cause we miss you both dearly.
