elevated QtA2o Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family, in Toronto, Ontario on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Paolo. Cherished mother of Nick (Josie), Luigi (Jeannette) and Anna (Frank Guzzo). Devoted and caring Nonna of Filomena (Paolo Donatelli), Angela (Danilo D’Amico), Marco, Sabrina, Massimo, Dominic and Matteo. Proudest Bis-Nonna of Sofia, Alessia, Gianluca, and Andrea. Dearest sister of Carmela Calitri (the late Angelo). Predeceased by her sister Giuseppina Cobuzzi. Dear sister-in-law of Pietro Cobuzzi. Filomena will forever be remembered by family and friends both here in Canada and Italy.

We have no words to express how sorry we are for your loss. Comara was a very kind, warm and happy individual. There would always be a laugh or positive upside to every conversation. Our last conversation was brief and I could hear her pain and suffering in her voice. She was a wonderful friend of the family for almost 50 years and great friend to our mom. She will be remembered by us all. May she rest in peace with her husband knowing that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Comara Lucia and the Perrella Family.
We were deeply heartbroken to learn about Comara’s passing. She was suffering and in immense pain. Comara Filomena will always be remembered as a beautiful, strong, and kind woman. Her laugh was contagious, and her smile was heartfelt. We have fond wonderful memories and we cherish the times we spent with her and Compare Paolo over the years. Nick, Luigi and Anna, we extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your families on the loss of your mother and grandmother. May she rest in peace, and may you find comfort knowing she is no longer suffering and in a better place.
