elevated Fyyt9 Obituary

It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of our dearest Fina Palumbo. God called onto Fina on Saturday June 27, 2026, and she passed away at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital with her family protectively and devotedly by her side.

Beloved and devoted wife of Francesco of sixty nine years. Loving Mother of Giovanni (Diane), Antonietta (Nino), Renato (Emma) and Sandra (Rob). Adored and loving Nonna of Frank (Amanda), Lauren (Bobby), Sara (Mark), Andrew (Alessandra), Alexander, Nicholas, Olivia, Julia and Isabella. Proud Great-Grandmother of Lucia, Noah, Rosalia, Leo, Aria, Charlotte, Maddison and Chloe.

Fina is now reunited in Heaven and with her parents Giuseppe D’ Alfonso and Antonia Di Pasquale and her younger brother, Giovanni.

Fina was born in Lettomanoppello, Province of Pescara, in Abruzzo Italy.  She emigrated to Canada in December 1957 to follow her newlywed husband Francesco and to start their life and family together.  It was an arduous journey but they relied on love, determination, and support.

She leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, kindness, loyalty and commitment to family.  She was a woman of selflessness, hard work and sacrifice for her loved ones and extended family.

Fina will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.  She spent her entire life taking care of others, and it seems just that all the love and care she gave was returned to her in the last recent years when she needed it.

Forever loved, forever remembered and forever in our hearts.

May she rest in peace.

Heavenly Father,

We place our beloved Mother into Your loving hands with grateful hearts. Thank You for her life, her endless love, and the kindness she shared with everyone around her. Though we will miss her deeply, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace with You. Give our family strength, peace, and hope until we are together again. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
